Holiday Open Houses
On Friday, December 6, from 4:00pm-8:00pm, Downtown Ottumwa will be full of activity and shoppers for Home for the Holidays. Many businesses will also be open on December 7 from 9:00am-3:00pm for holiday shopping.
Register your business to participate and get the added benefit of being listed on the Main Street Ottumwa Facebook page with over 8,000 followers. We will work hard to get customers to the Downtown and we'll let you take it from there!
Some special activities have been planned for Home for the Holidays this year!

Brenda Shepherd will be hosting an ornament making station in her business ($10 for kids, $15 for adults)

Meistersingers will be caroling

iJAG will be hosting some activities inside Career Campus

A cookie decorating station will be inside the lobby at Candy Caboose

Two horse drawn carriages will loop the district for some extra magic

For Main Street Ottumwa district businesses, the fee will be $75. If you donate a $25 gift card for your business, the fee drops to $50. If your business is outside the district, the fee is $100. If you donate a $25 gift card for your business, the fee drops to $75.
We will not be having a Snowball Drop on Small Business Saturday. Instead, we will help you promote your Small Business Saturday specials.
